Cruise Elsinore

It has almost become a tradition that 2-3 cruise ships visit Elsinore every year.

Some of them are so big that they can’t enter the harbour, but drops anchor in the roads. Among them is the impressive great British cruise ship Queen Mary 2.

Although you are not a passenger on board it is still possible to experience the spirit from the seven seas, when the cruise ships arrive in Elsinore. From Wiibroes Square, opposite the cruise dock, you can follow the entire scene: The small tenders bring passengers ashore from the cruise ship, at the King's Quay Prince Hamlet welcomes all and sightseeing busses are ready in line to transport passengers on sightseeing tours.

Many passengers choose to stay in Elsinore and experience the charming old town, a visit to Kronborg Castle, the cathedral and the former red light district around Anna Queen Strait. Others choose to visit cozy café on Axeltorv Square or tempting shops in one of the pedestrian streets.
