The horse-racing track is situated like an oasis in beautiful natural surroundings close to the city centre. It is visited by many people every day who come here to watch the horses being trianed, or to enjoy the food they have brought along in the extensive outdoor areas.

For the children both outdoor and indoor playgrounds are available, as well as pony riding (weather permitting) and a special children's cinema.
 
On race days the racecourse's panorama restaurant, cafeteria and grill bar are open.
