Some of Copenhagen’s coolest streets are to be found in Nørrebro, a short walk past the Lakes from Nørreport station. Jægersborggade is a cobbled street of Michelin-starred restaurants, funky cafés, vintage shops and wine bars. Elmegade is also a nightlife and gastronomic hotspot. There are many pockets of tranquillity, such as Assistens Cemetery, where you can visit Hans Christian Andersen’s grave, and the new colourful outdoor area of Superkilen.
