In order to stay at a Danish campsite accredited by the Danish Camping Council, you will need a camping pass called Camping Key Europe. One camping pass covers singles, couples and any children you have under 18 years of age. Camping passes can be bought at your first campsite in Denmark or on the Camping Council’s website. Other regulations may apply to Danish campsites that are not members of the Danish Camping Council.
The Camping Key Europe card is valid throughout Europe and cost 110kr. If you are just passing through Denmark and wish to pay for a one night stay only, you can buy a transit pass which costs 35kr. These are only valid in Denmark. Ask at your campsite for more details.
