Næsborg Church

Næsborg Kirke is located east of Løgstør, offering a unique experience with its breathtaking view over the Limfjord.

On the 58-meter-high church hill lies Næsborg Kirke with a magnificent view over the Limfjord and the landscape. The church was built between 1100 and 1200.

The altarpiece is a winged altarpiece from the late 16th century, with paintings from 1635 depicting the drama of Easter.

On the back of the side panels, Christ with the world globe and Peter with the keys to the kingdom of heaven can be seen.

On the north and east walls of the choir, there are medieval consecration crosses, and the pulpit features finely carved Evangelist symbols. In the tower room, a series of distinctive memorial plaques from the 18th and 19th centuries are displayed.
