Randal Wood and Newwood is like a big green wedge in the north of the town of Fredericia. Forests are instituted in the 1990s to maintain a green structure that divides Fredericia into districts and to create natural distance between the industrial area and residential area.
The nature area varies with lakes, open natural areas and forest areas. Animal husbandry grazing the open areas, helping to create good living conditions for animals and plants.
The forests are publicly available via footpaths. The new woods there is a large observation tower where you can look out over the town of Fredericia. In Randal Forest you will find a popular dog forest and a lunch.
