Going out

Jomfru Ane Gade is perhaps Aalborg's best known place to go out. The street and the surrounding area is famous for its nightlife, and for good reason. With its multitude of pubs, bars and nightclubs, Jomfru Ane Gade is where Aalborg comes to unwind and party into the early hours. The Jomfru Ane Gade area is also a very popular during the day with its many cafés and restaurants.

Dynamic meeting place

Nordkraft used to house Aalborg's old power station, but has since been turned into a dynamic regional focal point for the area's experiences and attractions. Nordkraft is now the place where gastronomic, cultural and musical events mix.

Art, art, art

With regular exhibitions of modern Danish and international art as well as a permanent collection of Danish art ranging from naturalism to the 20th century, KUNSTEN is an unmissable attraction for art lovers. The building itself was constructed after designs by Elissa og Alvar Aalto og Jean-Jacques Baruël.
