South Zealand: Sea and beaches

South Zealand beaches
South Zealand is a holiday-makers’ heaven, with an enormous number of sheltered, sandy beaches for you to choose from.

A beach for everyone!

Head to popular beach spots at Karrebæksminde in the Smålandshavet Archipelago, the old holiday town of Fakse Ladeplads and the coast of Møn. You’ll enjoy some of the best beaches in the region at Marielyst on the East Coast of Falster, with wide stretches of sand and dunes.

Island hopping

Lolland's south coast also has great beaches, though you’ll find them less sheltered from the wind. Just head out into the region and explore the many straits, belts and inlets to find the beach that’s right for you. There are enough of them for everyone in this part of Denmark.
