What better way to act as a true superhero than by being high up in the sky?! Venture 60 metres above sea level on the brand new Bridgewalking adventure on Denmark's Little Belt bridge, which connects Jutland to the island of Funen. The climb takes courage, no doubt. But fear not, all you grown ups! Your eldest children will take you by the hand for a scenic climb to the top of the bridge. From here you are awarded with a magnificent view of the scenic and picturesque surroundings of the Little Belt, meanwhile cars and trains move below you.
In Vejle, kids in all ages can swing from tree to tree in Gorilla Park Vejle. The Gorilla Park offers more than 100 great elements at heights from 1-21 metres including zip lines, Trazan swings, base jumps, climbing walls, BMX and snowboard. In 2018 the park launched a new adrenaline-rushing experience, with the new Gorilla Big Swing, that lets participants feel like they are free falling from 15 metres above ground.
Tirptz on the west coast of Denmark let's you visit the original bunker Tirpitz, that has more than 20,000 years of history. The bunkers in Blåvand worked as an important piece in World War 2 and it's hard to miss the historic importance of the bunkers and the impact it had on people who lived through the war. Danish architectural firm BIG designed the museum by the sunken Tirpitz bunker, and in 2012 the museum was completely redesigned by renowned architect Bjarke Engels. It offers a unique chance to join a 4D experience that shows you have tidal waves through the last thousands of years, have brought properity but also deatch to the area. The museum is hidden under sandy dunes in the spectacular scenerary of Blåvand.
Koldinghus is a royal castle located in Kolding. It is sedated with royal history spanning back to 1268 when the Danish king build the castle to guard the boarder between the Danish kingdom and Schleswig. The castle offers guided tours for children and their families, great changes to trace history and even has a comprehensive Dress up workshop. In the royal court you will also be able to train like the knights did back in the days. Tons of other activities are also suitable for youngsters including bownling in royal clothing (picture above).
