Stubbe Sø

Stubbe Sø is  Djurslands largest lake. Once it was part of a inlet, but became a lake when the landscape rose around it. The lake is a very important resting place for seabirds and is therefore very interesting for bird enthusiasts. Access to the lake is difficult because land around it is owned by private landowners. But the state owns one corner of the lake's southeastern edge, from here you can get access to the lake along a small path.
The landscape is dominated pine forests, however, with alder and birch down to the lake. The lake is an important resting place for seabirds
